Syrian Army helicopter destroyed in rebel missile attack, 2 pilots killed

Syrian Army helicopters were hit by ground-to-air missiles in the Turkish-backed fighters' territory in Syria, the helicopter burst into flames and the ground was shaken, according to the World News Agency. ۔


Rescue agencies began rescue operations, removing the bodies of two pilots from the helicopter debris. The Turkish-born militant group, the National Liberation Front, has claimed responsibility for the missile attack.

It is to be noted that last week also a Syrian Army helicopter was destroyed in a missile attack in the area in which 3 Syrian Air Force personnel were killed. The area is controlled by Turkish-backed rebels who are fighting against Kurdish fighters.
