According to Express News, OGRA (Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority) has prepared a summary of changes in the prices of petroleum products, which have recommended a reduction of 6 paise in petrol prices from 1st February.
Ogra recommends 66 paise a liter reduction in kerosene price while high speed diesel price is suggested to be increased by Rs. 47 / - and light diesel by Rs. 10 / - per liter. ۔
The summary has been forwarded to the Ministry of Petroleum while the final approval of the petroleum product prices will be given by the government, after which the new prices will be applicable from 1st February.
